Bastogne Nuts by Wilbur Pierce - Art Print

During the Battle of the Bulge ion the Ardennes forest on the border between Germany and France, Hitler attempted the last drive to destroy the Allies and their advance. A key city was that of Bastogne which was a rail and road hub. The American 101st Infantry Division was surrounded and asked to surrender. The Germans did not understand the response from American General MacAuliffe 'Nuts'.
